Terms and Conditions

1. When you have spec'd out your custom guitar/neck/body etc and gone to the checkout page, this is the total price of your order. This is not due up front, but will be paid in three equal payments. The first payment, due at the time of ordering, is the deposit. In the checkout page, you must input the discount code DEPOSIT which will reduce the total amount to the amount of the first deposit. The remaining two payments will be invoiced to you as the order progresses. The second payment is due when the woodwork is complete, and the final payment is due prior to shipping. The total price does not include shipping, which will be invoiced separately when the order is complete. A shipping estimate will be provided at the time of ordering, however the price may change from the time you place the order to when your order is ready to ship. We are not responsible for any changes in shipping costs, as they are out of our control. 
2. Once your first deposit has been paid, you have 7 days to cancel your order, and receive a full refund. After 7 days, East City Guitar Co. Is under no obligation to refund your deposit for any reason. While we know that life can throw curveballs, we are not financially responsible for you blowing the shocks in your car, or for having put all your money into the wrong cryptocurrency.
3. All sales are FINAL. We do our best to build the most visually and tonally appealing guitars, but tone is subjective, and we absolutely DO NOT give refunds for disappointment in “tone” or “feel” or “vibe” or perceived lack thereof. Not bonding with your instrument is not grounds for a refund! We hope you will love your guitar, but we build guitars, not emotional and spiritual connections. 
4. East City Guitar Co. can issue a refund at our discretion for major manufacturing defects only, and we may assess up to a 20% restocking fee on all returned items. 
5. We are not responsible for changes in exchange rate, and will only quote prices in CAD. If we had the ability to predict and control global financial markets, we wouldn’t be building guitars. 
6. While we do our best to provide our best guess at current wait times, we cannot guarantee when your order will be ready. We do not provide refunds for having incorrectly predicted the future. Believe us when we say that we want you to get your guitar as quickly as possible, because we don’t get paid for our work until your order is complete. We are doing the best that we can, and your patience is appreciated.
